Diversity
My mother is always trying to understand what motivates people, especially those in her family. One day she and my sister were talking about one relative's bad luck. “Why do you suppose she changed jobs?” she asked my sister. “Maybe she has a subconscious desire not to succeed.” “Or maybe it just happened,” said my sister, exasperated. “Do you know you analyze everything to death?” Mother was silent for a moment. “That's true,” she said. “Why do you think I do that?”
Miscellany
This is where things get a bit eclectic—a kind of INFJ potluck. A grab-bag of musings and miscellany that might delight, amuse, or quietly resonate. Topics may range from travel ideas to tips for organizing spaces, creative gift-giving, romantic quirks, social grace, or even wardrobe advice à la Color Me Beautiful. Think of it as lighthearted, sometimes useful, always infused with INFJ curiosity.
Collections
On that note, a personal share: I’ve somehow found myself collecting what I affectionately call “dolphin crap” (and yes, I mean that with the deepest reverence). Trinkets, boxes, stickers, letter openers—you name it. My half-bath is now a marine sanctuary in miniature, and I’m seriously considering painting it to feel like you’re floating in the ocean when you’re in there.
Perfume
In my dolphin-hunting adventures, I stumbled across a perfume that caught my fancy. My husband bought it for me, and surprisingly—I love it. If you’re also a dolphin enthusiast, here’s a link to check it out. (The fluid is more aqua than it looks in the picture, just so you know.) I found mine in the Orlando airport’s Sea World shop, but the site also offers samples, in case you’re curious.
